ATC for April

This is what I came up with for the April ATC, the theme was Easter. I used the cricut to cut my bunny head..

Hello Kitty Swap

Here I did 2 pieces for the same swap group...I did these both at 4 inches..Hello Kitty is easier to use than Sesame Street..LOL..then just some stickles to add to it!

Sesame Street Swap

These are the 2 pieces I did for the SS swap..I cut them at 4 inches. I also just used googly eyes (which I think work better than fighting with the little pieces!! LOL)

March Challenge Me Card Swap

Here is my card for the challenge group I am in..we had to use purple, polka dots (or cirlces) and some type of punch....

I think it came out okay..a little different than I pictured but it always does.. :)

March is National Craft Month

Happy National Craft Month!! Now hopefully during March..I can actually find some time to craft!!

February Challenge Me Card Swap

here is my February card!! We were given a picture to use as our inspiration (it was a tree branch with a beautiful blue sky background..reminded me of spring/summer time), we also had to use some type of metal (whether it be a brad, staple, etc) and had to be pastel colors..so I seen this template on a site and used it to make my dress....I think it came out pretty cute...think it could be used for a girls' bday, new baby girl, maybe a Spring Dress (for Easter time..???)

Cupcake Recipe Swap

I signed up to do a cupcake recipe swap and this is what I did...I didn't want to just use a cupcake so I went with lots of circles for some reason..(I mean lots..LOL) The big circle that the recipe is on swings around...no special reason...

Disney Piglet "Day Dreaming" ATC

I made this ATC for a swap I am in on the cricut MB..I chalked the background with some blue chalk to give it a sky look and then used some stickles to glitter the clouds, added some little flowers, put a pop dot behind Piglet's head for some dimension and made 2 layers of grass.

No crafting...just posting!!

Yeah..school is cancelled for tomorrow...it is too cold to go outside anyways!! I think it is supposed to be about zero tomorrow...it would be a good day to sit and scrap (which I got to do some last weekend..yay for me!!) but I am having a pampered chef party tomorrow evening so I am going to clean up the house and cut up some snacks for it...
But since we don't have school/work tomorrow..that gives us a long weekend..we are also off Monday so hopefully I can scrap some Sunday and Monday...well Sunday up until FOOTBALL TIME!! HERE WE GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

March 2009 ATC

This is the March ATC for the Cricut MB..it was to use gold and green, St. Patrick's Day theme.

I used this pearly green cardstock and stamped clovers with gold ink (although it doesn't look like it) and printed an irish prayer on vellum and inked the sides with gold, again can't really see it being gold..

An Irish Blessing:

February 2009 ATC

This is my idea for the February 2009 ATC swap on the cricut MB...

It was to use flowers and hearts with a love theme..I used some vellum and under the vellum I stamped with the following:

"Love Binds Everything together in perfect harmony. Colossians 3:14"

January 2009 ATC

This is my January ATC for the cricut MB swap I am in..I just recently started these ATC's mid last year and really enjoy them..they aren't as detailed as others but I still have doing them!!

The theme was use Red, Black and White..

2008 is gone..what a great year we had...I hope this year will be as great as last!!

I have some goals I would like to reach in 2009...
1. to lose the weight I have gained since I quit smoking! (which I am super proud of myself and my hubby!!)

2. To scrap more! This is something I find so relaxing but never take the time to do..so no more excuses...I am going to scrap this year! Not sure how many LOs per month..but at least once per month I will scrap/craft!

3. Continue to exercise....how else will I lose any weight..not that I haven't been trying..those extra lbs just really like me!

4. not sure..LOL!! But with being an organization freak..I am sure I can find something I want to organize and clean up..like cupboards...LOL!!
