Glass Block Gift!!

I didn't get a chance to make these last yr but wanted to make one for a gift this year. I bought a 6x6 inch block and filled it with a small strand of lights and some of those little circle things (I don't know the real name of them LOL..they are like styrofoam)..I found this Laptop sticker and loved the saying so I added that to it (I was going to cut vinyl) and added a couple flowers..I may have to get some more of these and make more gifts..Maybe I should add a couple more flowers to the other corners..yes or no??
What do you think?

then lit up:

Christmas Card 2010

Here it is!! I love this snowman stamp, I used on a couple cards last year..but this year it is my main card! I used my nestabilities for the rectangular frames and colored the snowman in with glitter pens. I used one of my CB folders. I also found those rhinestones at J's..I had to glue them on myself (as they are not the self adhesive ones) but I got a much better deal! LOL! I think I made about 25-30 of these! I hope that's enough!! :)I may add some chalk on the background of the snowman, haven't decided yet..
What do you think?

Rest in Peace our Buster

Our Buster passed away Tuesday afternoon. It was a complete shock to us all. We knew he was getting old, he was 10 (11 in December) but other than showing signs of getting older (moving around slower and getting grey hair..we would call him grey beard or our old man) we don't know if he was ill. My husband came home from work and let him to go the bathroom and he was fine he said, then he went back off the porch to finish up and passed away in the yard.

Thank you Buster for blessing us for the past 10 years with your neverending love!! You showed us what unconditional love is all about!! Now go play with Lenox and you both watch over your kids--they miss you so much...we love you Buster!

Wedding Shadow Box

After a couple hours..I think I got it!! I cut my letters just a little too big the first time around.I bought the "outfits" and to make them fit, I had to cut and piece together some paper dolls. So my dolls vary in size from 3 1/2 inches to 4 1/2 inches..I used Storybook to cut the letters (shadow and regular) at 1 1/2 inches. I have a corner punch that I used for the corners. I hope my sister and her fiance like it.

What do you think? I wish I had more shadow boxes..I think they make great gifts!!

"My Boys" Layout!!

Yippee!! I got a layout done today!! I love being able to do a challenge or two!! The layout is of my 2 doggies!
I used some DCWV paper and some regular cardstock..used Learning Curve for my font and used good ole' George for my circles. I had some chipboard stickers so I used those (I love being able to use up my stash of goodies!) And some ribbon, a few shaped brads, a border punch, a white pen for the dots..and there you go..there is my layout!!

What do you think? Leave me some comments!! I love them!

My project for SSPT!!

Hello everyone!! August means a new challenge is issued over at Sugar Sweet Paper Treats!! (http://www.sugarsweetpapertreats.blogspot.com) and the challenge was to create a non traditional opening card (can't open from the top or side)..so I found this template in my one magazine, changed it just a little (no scalloped edges) and in about 10 minutes I had this card made! This card could be used for all kinds of occasions don't you think? You could add a cut out or a stamped image you colored then cut out..oh the possibilities!

I hope you like it!!
