Challenge 35 – Tags, bags and Boxes (Criutters Anonymous and Cuttlebug Challenge Blog_

For this challenge (which if you haven't read, the format is changing on the blog and there will no longer be challenges but there will still be themes and we will still be sharing our creations with you all over there) we were to create a tag, bag, or box! So being that I just bought Forever Young..I wanted to make a purse (I say that is the same as a bag right?? LOL) I cut the purse at 4 inches (which is what I got when I told my machine to cut to page)..
I used my white pen to add the little lines around the edge. I used my daisy punch and glued the border on the bottom. For the "flap" part I used my stickles and then a rhinestone!! The little flower on the top was from last yrs Spring line from DCWV...
This type of little purse would be great for a favor at a party or maybe for a gift card..
I am also adding this to the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog...it is for Purse-On-Ality!!

Two years ago on this day...

we lost our friends! They were the nicest people in the world..they didn't have much but what they had was yours if you needed it. They were killed in a motorcycle accident. I remember the day like yesterday..I was at my very first scrapbook get together with some girls from the cricut board and my hubby called me to tell me..I couldn't believe it. Dennis and Teri had moved away a couple yrs before that but we stayed in touch and we went to see them and they would come up and visit..they were like family to us! So my dear friends..rest in peace and watch over your kids and your grandbaby..I could see you now guys..that little man would be sooo spoiled by the two of you! We miss you! Bill and I still laugh to this day at all the fun we had! Thanks for touching our lives and being our friends!

Shadow Box ScrapbookPal.com Design Team Entry

So scrapbook pal (http://www.scrapbookpal.com/) is looking for DT members and I couldn't wait to apply!! Have you ever checked out their site! They have awesome deals!! Keep your fingers crossed they like my project!!

For this shadow box I did the following:

Storybook cut at 2 1/2 inches both regular cut and shadow feature

Used "pop dots" on the back of each letter to help them stand out

The butterflies and flower are attached by using glue dots!

The white and the green cardstock is Bazill..
I inked the edges of my paper with Cat's Eye ink (hard to tell in the pic though)

These make great gifts don't you think? This one is going to a friend of mine!! I hope she likes it!
Some of the Products can be found:

Pink Bless Our Home Shadow Box

This box I made for a friend..I had posted about paying it forward to my crafty friends on facebook one day and one of the ladies posted on it..so this is for her!! (well 2 did so I have one more to make for the other lady) I hope she likes pink!! I used the Plantin Schoolbook cart for this font and also for the scalloped edge...(I forgot about that being on the cart LOL)..For that though, I used the cut to length feature and cut it at 8 inches (then had to adjust a little)..The ribbon on the top I bought at Pat Catan's one day..it came in a little variety package for a buck I believe!! LOL! The font I just used the "shadow" feature. I pulled the center out of the flower and added a brad on this one. The background striped paper is g*c*d studios...light stripe. The pink cardstock is Bazill.

Challenge 34 Picnic Inspired Cricutters Anonymous

This week's challenge on Cricutters Anonymous is to create something by using a picnic theme as your inspiration! Well for me..when I think of a picnic..I think of being outside and seeing flowers and bright and happy things..so I created this card.. I took a pc of Bazill cardstock for my
base (pear crush) then I folded into 3rds..I used Bo Bunny paper (patterned paper). I used for the first time (LOL) the Create a Critter cart for the flowers...(they are made with Bazill paper as well)..added a couple eyelets so it would close and a few little rhinestones/pearls! On the inside, I just double matted cardstock for the sentiment...
What do you think? Leave me some comments! I love them!!
